Site 1
Central offices - Listed building - Site 2
An anchor to the area full of information, culture and history.
Offices, built in 1883 to the design of Vigers and Wagstaffe in the manner of Norman Shaw. Now owned by the London Development Agency and part of Royals Business Park. Security has been improved and some emergency repairs undertaken. Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent have been granted for restoration and use as a club and art gallery as part of the wider Royals Business Park development of Albert Dock. The implementation phase has yet to commence.
Open space is a crucial part of the development. Directly Infront of the two listed buildings there is a view pathway to the waterfront. instead of blocking it with buildings it is a perfect place to place open space making it a centre point of the site. It has commercial buildings to either side of it therefore would have a high footfall and services would be easily accessible.
Open space - Site 3
Green open space with outdoor seating and waterfront perfect for relaxing, exercising and socialising
